Solution
To resolve this issue upgrade to Receiver for iOS 6.1.

To workaround this issue navigate to NetScaler Gateway > Global Settings > Client Experience > and increase the Session Timeout and Idle Timeout values. You can log out of the VDI/close the app and then open a new app as long as you do not log out or close the Receiver.
